The Evolution X3 is the next-generation satellite router featuring iDirect's highly efficient implementation of the DVB-S2 standard. With DVB-S2 and Adaptive Coding and Modulation (ACM) on the outbound and deterministic TDMA on the return, the X3 maximizes the efficiency of satellite capacity to enable new opportunities for star topology networking.
This router is ideally suited for broadband requirements such as Internet and VPN access to enterprise networks, as well as real-time VoIP and video conferencing. This technology features: star topology, DVB-SE/ACM outbound for greater efficiency and enhanced network availability, Deterministic, MF-TDMA return channel, Automatic end-to-end Uplink Power Control for reduced downtime, Optional AES 256-bit encryption, Ethernet interface and low cost of entry.

The Evolution 8000 series satellite router was developed to meet the most rigorous military-grade security requirements. Providing fast, reliable quality of service enabled connections for government and military networks including Communications on the Move (COTM) and Communications on the Pause (COTP) applications.
This product offers: Star, mesh and SCPC topologies, two modes of operation, iNFINITI TDM outbound and DVB-S2/ACM, high carrier data rates up to 156 Mbps outbound, 6.5 Mbps ont he inbound, integrated spread spectrum waveform technology supports very small antennas, unique FIPS 140-2 certification, TRANSEC security with AES 256-bit encryption, Supports WGS IF ranges: 950-2000MHz, Built-in 8-port Ethernet switch, optional +48 VDC output supporting higher BUC power, automatic End-to-End Uplink Power Control for higher network availability, interface for GPS input or Antenna Control Signaling, also available as an iConnnex board for easy integration.
