iDirect Satellite Modems
There are four series in the iDirect iNFINITI line of modems. The 3000 series is the base model that allows TDMA operation but does not offer encryption, iSCPC or MESH options. The 5000 series comes standard with TDMA and iSCPC and add the ability to add the MESH option as well as encryption. The 7000 series comes standard with TDMA, iSCPC, MESH and a variety of encryption options as well as government certification and compliance. The newest addition is the 8000 series was developed to meet the most rigorous user requirements for both mobility and security. It includes all the features of the 7000 series and is compliant with the highest military security requirements. iDirect NetModem II products have been discontinued by the manufacturer, however, are still supported on many hubs.
