The iNFINITI 5000 Series modems were developed specifically to support the business critical applications of enterprise customers. It combines a flexible networking platform to deploy tailored topologies and configurations to support end users' most specific needs.
The 5000 Series is a satellite router designed for easy deployment, integrating a satellite modem, IP router, TCP acceleration and advanced QoS and prioritization capabilities.
The iNFINITI 5000 uses the high performance TDM on the outbound and iDirect's patented deterministic MF-TDMA on the inbound, delivering pseeds up to 20 Mbps on the outbound and up to 6.5 Mbps on the inbound.
Supporting multiple topologies such as star, mesh and hybrid networks as well as point-to-point SCPC enable maximum flexibility when it comes to the integration of a variety of applications into a single platform. Optional AES encryption will add stong data encryption to customize networks to the most demanding corporate requirements.
Support for a rich set of IP protocols and features such as TCP, UDP, multicasting, NAT, VLAN tagging and DHCP guarantee compatibility with a wide range of aaplications when providing corporate network extensions.
Supporting a wide variety of turbo product codes (TPC) FECs, the 5000 Series provides more flexibility for network design and optimization. Features such as TCP and HTTP acceleration and local DNC caching increase throughput performane and maximize the user's experience.

The 5000 Series is a family of satellite routers designed for easy deployment, integrating a satellite modem, IP router, TCP acceleration and advanced QoS and prioritization capabilities. Capable of supporting IP data rates of up to 20 Mbps downstream and up to 7.7 Mbps upstream, the 5000 series features optional encryption, support for multiple topologies and built-in compression, as well as a built-in sleep-mode that enables service providers to use satellite bandwidth more efficiently.

The iDirect iNFINITI 5000 series currently consists of the 5100 model offering TDMA and SCPC. iNFINITI 5150 adds 3DES encryption to these features. The 5300 model is further enhanced with the MESH option and no 3DES. The 5350 adds the 3DES option to the 5300 model. These modems offer various warranty options to consider.
