Ku Band Satellite Coverage Maps
Ku band satellite service has the ability to operate with a smaller antenna because of the frequency range in which it operates. Ku service tends to have much higher EIRP values then c band service. Ku band is more susceptible to weather conditions such as rain fade so weather at the remote as well as the teleport are a consideration.
